Education & Workshops

At Unified Creative Exchange, our educational programs are thoughtfully designed and organized by our Founder & CEO, Joshua Hollingsworth. With extensive experience spanning seven years in visual art, museum, and gallery education—primarily with inner-city youth in grades 5-12—our team brings a deep understanding of classroom management, art integration, curriculum development, and teaching artist management. Our workshops are crafted to inspire creativity, promote cultural understanding, and engage students through hands-on, immersive learning experiences. We partner with schools and youth serving community groups to provide tailored programs that meet the unique needs of each audience.

Expressive T-shirt Design Workshop

Empower students to express themselves creatively through our T-Shirt Design Workshop. This dynamic 3-4 day program guides participants from concept to creation, teaching them design basics and helping them transform plain T-shirts into personalized works of art. Through hands-on activities like tie-dye and sketching, students will learn about color theory, textures, and shapes while also exploring their personal identities. This workshop is in partnership with Creatives Only, Inc. We have joined forces to ensure outcomes align with educational standards and engages students effectively, making it an ideal addition to any school or youth program.

Goals & Themes:

  • Creative Expression & Identity: Encourage students to discover and express their unique identities through art and design.

  • Social-Emotional Learning: Foster confidence and self-awareness through the creative process, helping students build resilience and a sense of accomplishment.

  • Entrepreneurship: Introduce basic entrepreneurial concepts, encouraging students to think creatively about how to market and brand their designs.
