“Driven by a passion for art, education, and community, Joshua leads UCE with a commitment to creativity, growth, and meaningful cultural impact.”
Joshua Hollingsworth is a visionary and creative entrepreneur committed to transforming communities through art, education, and cultural engagement. As the Founder and CEO of Unified Creative Exchange (UCE), Joshua combines his expertise in arts administration, curation, and art education to empower artists, support small businesses, and foster growth across diverse communities.
A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Joshua’s artistic journey began at the Delaware College of Art and Design, where he earned an Associate of Fine Arts in Photography. During this time, he interned at the Delaware Contemporary (Museum), laying the foundation for his career in arts management and community engagement amongst inner city youth & urban communities.
Over the course of his career, Joshua has held key roles at prominent organizations, including The Delaware Contemporary (Museum) and The Delaware College of Art and Design. He has successfully designed and managed educational programs and workshops, curated thought-provoking exhibitions, and managed large-scale community events, such as art festivals, community panels, and conferences. These experiences honed his ability to unite creativity, business strategy, and cultural impact.
In May 2023, Joshua founded Unified Creative Exchange to bridge the gap between art, entrepreneurship, and community. As a dynamic Agency + Gallery, UCE provides tailored support for artists, small businesses, and galleries through innovative exhibitions, curated events, and strategic collaborations. By leveraging his expertise, Joshua helps these entities elevate their creative endeavors while fostering meaningful connections within their communities.
Joshua is particularly passionate about creating opportunities for BIPOC creatives and underserved communities, ensuring their voices are seen, celebrated, and supported. He firmly believes in the transformative power of art to not only enrich lives but also drive economic and social impact for small businesses and cultural institutions.
